The food is great. Service is ok. Wait is super long.Came here on a Sunday around 1:30 and had to wait 35min for a table. By the time we sat down half of the dim sum items were sold out which was very disappointing. The items we got were pretty good, most of them. The taro cream bun was super tasty and the cream center melted in your mouth. The xlb was not very good at all, thick skin and not very fresh. The pork balls were very good. Chicken feet was mediocre. Really wanted the egg tarts but they were completely sold out. Parking was nightmare.

I really enjoy this Chinese restaurant. I will go back!

Taste very good. One of the most well known Cantonese restaurants in San Gabriel Valley area. Came for Dim Sum at noon, pretty craws here, need to wait for 10-15 minutes. Occasionally come here several times during the past 3 years, taste stays the same.

Today 06/21/2020 Father’s Day. I am here asking the lady for picking up an order, she said not ready yet, and I ask how long it is going to take and she started yelling at me. What kind of services are they providing here!!!!!

The food is not to my taste. I went to all the Dim Sum restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley. This one getting worse every time I went back and more expensive.

Decent dim sum but they have lost the taste they used to have. Dim Sum is ordinary just like any other dim sum house. For friends gathering this is a good place to go for Din sum as parking is plenty and easy to get to. But with the competitions next door for dim sum, this place is not as crowded as before. No wait

Get your act together! Ridiculous! Every single time I come to pick up an order it's chaos and no one wants to help. Some people waiting an hour and delivery drivers ignored when trying to pick up. Horrible and unprofessional.

Exceptional place to buy food when in a rush. The customer service is speedy, rates are fair, excellent atmosphere. I highly recommend this spot.

I have been coming here since it used to be called New Capital. The food here is by far some of the best Dim Sum restaurants in Cali, but they are slightly lacking in customer service. I always order my drinks extra ice and extra hot sauce but I rarely get what I ask for here. Other than service, the food here especially dim sum here is amazing.

I enjoyed the dim sum at this place and the restaurant is pretty nice and clean. Highly recommend trying out this place. L

This is an extremely popular lunch and dinner place. The luncheon selection is vast, and dim sum is excellent there. The shrimp dumpling was excellent as well as the soft rice wrapped with shrimps or roast pork. You can order a selection of stir-fried vegetables, and the roast pork buns are a very good... the place gets to be packed... Be prepared to wait.

Great Dim Sum... long wait even the receptionist said 30 minutes “only” we waited more than 1.15 plus hours

Delicious dim sum dishes that are different than at other Chinese restaurants.

Really good dim sum. There is no dim sum cart. You have to order from a waiter. Large portion, and you can taste the good quality ingredients. Delicious Shui Mai and Har Gow. Very happy with our experience at the restaurant.

Came here for lunch with a bunch of friends. Good Dim sum, nice service, excellent value. Can't wait to go back.

place is pretty good. solid dim sum. waited about 25 minutes on a saturday at noon. parking lot is a mess and a free for all

As you might know, there are plenty of choices for dim sum in this area. However, China Red really has some special options that others don't. Such as the Crisp Cream Yam Bum (its like Laosao Bao with yam added & it's sweet). I also loved the House Special Rice Noodle Roll and their soup. 1-Star minus for perfect cuz some of the flavors are just way too strong that I personally won't come too often.
